There are plenty of powerful equalizers out there. So, why did we decide to release a plugin for MPEQ-1?

Most digital equalizers cannot perform what the original and legendary MPEQ-1 does.

Despite years of requests to reproduce it in plug-in format, we were not in a rush. We knew that if we were to construct a virtual version, it needed to be truly groundbreaking in the digital realm. The hardware MPEQ-1 was an unusual phenomenon in the analog world, and its software counterpart would set new digital norms.

We accomplished this with the release of the MPEQ-1 Super-Parametric Saturation Equalizer.

This plugin can do everything its analog counterpart can, including changing the curve form, using extremely flexible filters, adjusting the Q factor throughout a large range, and working in a unique Vari-Phase mode. We meticulously replicated every aspect that made the original iconic.

But we did not stop there. Each EQ band in the plugin now has its own saturation stage, allowing you to apply rich harmonic coloring to specific frequencies.

You may now increase the highs to saturation, cut through muddy low-mids, and keep the sub-bass crystal clear. Or, for example, increase the fundamental frequency of a snare drum to make it sound brighter and more expressive while preserving a clean high end. This level of control is simply unsurpassed.

This is a new generation equalizer, and once you use it, you will find it impossible to return to your old tools.
