Mors Elixir

Russell Jarvis, a music producer and sound designer, produced Mors Elixir, a collection of unique digital audio effects and production utilities that includes an ambient soundscape and mood generator. The tools are intended to simplify sound creation and create immersive atmospheres and effects, such as a specialized lo-fi FX plugin. They are frequently operated using minimal interfaces and a single mix slider.

Control either side of the frequency spectrum using the middle crossover slider, then use the independent controls on the sides to generate distinct delay effects for low and high frequencies. The instrument is best suited for processing percussion, melodic lines, special effects (FX), and brief one-shots.

Control parameters:

• EQ Crossover

– Controls the crossover frequency.

• Amount

– Sets the delay intensity level for each side individually.

• Delay Notes

– Determines the length and rate of delay repeats for each side.

• Mix

– Adjusts the overall balance of the processed echo signal and clean track.

• Solo

– Lets you listen to each frequency band separately.
