Toontrack EZbass

Toontrack EZbass is a complete virtual instrument and MIDI program made to assist producers and songwriters in producing realistic bass songs without the requirement for highly skilled bass players.

It smoothly produces low-end music of professional calibre by combining extremely precise instrument sampling, user-friendly songwriting tools, and an integrated effects engine.

We are pleased to present the first bass software of its sort. It provides not just flawless sound but also crucial elements that enable adding bass to your tracks simply, going beyond conventional sample libraries.

Important Characteristics

• Sampled Instruments: Two carefully sampled 5-string basses—a contemporary model and an antique one—are included.
• Extensive Articulations: Enables both finger and plectrum picking and captures subtle human playing subtleties like ghost notes, slides, hammer-ons, and harmonics.
• Real audio recordings (such as a DI bass or guitar track) can be converted into editable MIDI using the Audio Tracker feature.
• MIDI Groove Library: With more than 1,000 onboard MIDI grooves from a variety of genres, including pop, rock, metal, and funk, you may use the Tap2Find function to look for bass lines that fit.
• Editing Features: Users may quickly rearrange sections, change the complexity of the rhythm, add chord transitions, and adjust velocity using the integrated Edit Play Style and Song Track.
• Mix-Ready Tone: Without ever leaving the program, an onboard effects and amp/cabinet simulator instantly produces production-ready tones.
